"The theme of the Audi Award ceremony in November 2016 was “Ausblicke” (“Views”). Fittingly, award winners and guests at Ibiza’s Lio Club enjoyed a stunning 20 x 3 m view of the “Dalt Vila”, the city’s historic old town. The media installation “Light Strings” was the background for the stage, providing a transparent projection screen that allowed for an impressive view. The net, made of 18 km of nylon cord, 740 strings and 10 layers, showcased teaser films, award categories and animated type sequences during the event." Blackspace

Creative Support for KMS BLACKSPACE, Munich.
Inspired by the event venue (Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona), the short films, animated sequences and trailers shown at the Audi Awards were transformed into “stage images” that create special scenery for each category.
Each of the 12 categories at the Audi Awards tells a story about its specific background and criteria for evaluation, and is introduced with a approx. 40-second long trailer. Illustrative stage images in black and gold reflect the look of the Audi Award – creating a two-dimensional look with a three-dimensional impact.

On Air Redesign for the Greek TV station MEGA TV.
The promo package includes idents, lower thirds, corner bugs, presenters, sponsoring frames, time table boards — all based on the idea of a magic TV frame.
After we defined the new 'corporate motion' for the Station ID, which feels directional, graphical and modern, I started to develop the look and animation of the colorful particles. We wanted them to flow with behavior of the promo elements and also to float from the 2D painted frames of the life-action into a 3D space. In the next steps I animated sub brand logos and the other graphical and typographic elements.

This Styleframe I made before the shooting to illustrate the later Look of the TVCs. I was asked to create the Look for a campaign of 5 TV Spots featuring the new Suzuki car range. During the production I was responsible for Look Development, Art Direction and Lead Compositing. With a very tough schedule but a lot of After Effects Compositing we combined several car and background plates to a fresh inky look. Check out the final TVC here.

At Velvet we developed a new film for the Audi Museum in Ingolstadt. A 8000 pixel wide and 15 minute long montage of dynamic animation, multi-facetted split screens and 5K life action is projected to a 30m x 4 m 180° panoramic screen in Audi's own Cinema—in Dolby 7.1. The Mercedes-Benz GLK is chased by a mysterious ghost light through the City of Vancouver—directed by Ole Peters. I was responsible for the VFX Look Development and the execution of the "Chasing Light" in the TVC. It was a heavy After Effects Workflow with many warped and distorted 3D and 2D layers, based on Cinema 4D renderings.
